In life I see or saw that other persons Christian will make it hard to fellowship in their group or get into their inner circle even after several weeks because you still feel left out after you had been there[[making it clear I'm not talking about this forum chat site!].. IN my town it has always been plain hard to fellowship with Believers ,no bonding or real human intimate understanding happens ,but I have given up working with that.. I'm at a study that has a tendency now to want to judge others in that group , whoever feels weak or is in trials etc etc. though they seem still very kind now ,there can be missing the lovingkindness in just easy ways to share to eachother and the thing you sense is IF others will go to hell (do christians need to judge or inspect one another this way to pass sentence ,is not this God's business??) ..So in such a situation you can feel insecure or 'rejected' by others. Even though yet were Christian still. I do not think this should be tolerated there and but realistic care put in it's place.
 
I've been there, and I get a sense of what you may be going through:( all I can really say it the Lord is faithful & he knows your needs. Even when you seem to feel left out or worst yet rejected. As Christians, there is one common thread that run through each of us, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the commond denominator that we as believers all share. I think there is alot of very shallow hearts (christians, who may not be able to reconize the needs of others, but Jesus see's your need and discouragment. I just want to encourage you in the Lord Jesus, to continue to grow in your faith, through spending time in the Word, and find a need, and fill it. In otherwards, you can still be the hand of Jesus and find a need that someone may have, and in the name of Jesus allow yourself to be used to help me the needs of others, because I have found in doing that , your own needs we be met:)............love Skylyn

Guys,

I think you may be confusing Christianity with "religion". I believe that many churches are filled with people I like to call "Christians in name only" (see "RINO"). I am personally convinced that true believers are open, loving people who would go out of their way to welcome new believers.

However, we are all human beings. Many people are shy with strangers. Many of us have trouble approaching people we do not know. But that doesn't mean that you should stop trying. Keep approaching people in truth and humility. You will eventually find those among you who are the true believers.

How about visiting some other churches? Find one that you think has some mature, sincere Christians in it.

I went to a church for a year and was miserable until I realized it wasn't a church, it was a social group. Most of them were actually 'mean-spirited'.

Don't waste your time and energy in such an atmosphere. Find a church where the Holy Spirit is welcome.

No, we are not to 'judge'. Yet, Paul gives us the fruits of the Spirit to discern what is of the Spirit and what isn't: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self-control.

Don't expect to find perfection; but where these are present even a little bit, will draw you to that church.
