I just wanted to share some scriptures regarding the creation of heaven and earth for you to consider I think it helps understand some of the New Testament doctrine realizing this
“In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
The creation is both heaven and earth and this is how he apportioned it
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's:
But the earth hath he given to the children of men.”
Psalm 115:16 KJV
as faithful stewards our place is here in prayer and hope of unity between the creation and its realms
“Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,( mans domain )
as it is in heaven.”( Gods domain )
Matthew 6:10 KJV
Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven,
and in the earth!”
Psalm 113:6
Through scripture telling us about the heavenly things we can begin to behold those things we can’t see physically , by faith
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17 KJV
Prophetic visions are one way God tells
Man of things in the heavenly spiritual realm we can’t see and know any other way because they aren’t of our world not of the earth not flesh and blood like we are they are spiritual of the heavenly realm.
Consider that we can actually just hear and learn these things rether than try to “figure out what they mean “ and interpret them away into oblivion , we can just hear about what Gods saying and believe his word and it will come together
“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.”( Matthew 28:18)

so Gods throne is in heaven he rules over all we can simply believe this. And learn more about these matters that can only be heard about and believed upon
what is he doing in heaven ?
“The LORD is in his holy temple, The LORD's throne is in heaven:
His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.”
Psalm 11:4 KJV
“The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; He considereth all their works.”
Psalm 33:13-15 KJV
“The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, And seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: There is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Psalm 14:2-3 KJV
“I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
Jeremiah 17:10 KJV
At times in the Bible he comes down from heaven into earth
“And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
…Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.”
Genesis 11:5, 7 KJV
these again are just some scriptures to think about creation as two realms one creation with two areas connected but also separated by an expanse where we can’t see into heaven but heaven can see into earth
the reason I wanted to share these is this concept helps with the new testsment doctrine a whole lot when we begin to think of creation as two areas meant to be unified yet separated by sin and corruption of the earth
it helps to consider many things in the New Testament like where our promised land really is ?
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.( remember this is different from the beginning man was given the earth Jesus is offering heaven followed by a whole new creation)
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
Hebrews 11:13-14, 16 KJV
“but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,”
Hebrews 12:22
