Hebrews 11:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Is "God" in Hebrews 11:6 referring to God the Father? (God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, right? One God, but three Persons?)

Hello @LeeLoving, that's something that we cannot know at this juncture in time, at least I don't believe that it is  Looking back at Hebrews 11, God is spoken of prior to v6 (in v's 3-5) concerning things that happened from Day 1 of Creation, for instance, so which Person of the Godhead do you believe that those three verses are referring to and why? (remembering what the Bible tells us about the activities of God the Son prior to His incarnation .. e.g. John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17)

Thanks!

~Deut

John 1
