I'm a 46 yr old father of 2 little ones, 7 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl. I'm a husband to a wife in whom I love, but also whom God using to teach me how to love. I'm a step father of 2 older boys who are struggling to know God and His saving redemptive plan through His son Jesus Christ. I'm a son of Preacher who was saved at a very early age, and strayed till age of 27. At 27 I realized I couldn't live without God and finally bowed my knee to His sovereignty (was baptized by my earthly father in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit), but still I didn't have a complete understanding on what it meant to live a normal christian life. I fell back into sin just to have God pull be back out again. So here I am, seeker of His Word, learning to love Him with my whole mind, soul, body and strength. I am seeking a true and real relationship with my Heavenly Father through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in which I ask to be led by His Spirit in faith and truth of His eternal Word. My reason of joining this site is to become equipped by other believers and also to equip others. I believe as Christians we must be united in the essential Christian doctrines such as the trinity, virgin birth, deity of Jesus Christ, God Word is infallible in the original manuscripts, all true believers with live eternally with God in the new heaven and earth, those who reject Christ will be forever eternally separated from God in a place typically called Hell (not exactly sure what this Hell looks like, just that being separated from God the sustainer of life is torment in itself) and I'm sure there are a few other things I can't think of atm. But all other things, secondary issues we can debate over without dividing over (such as the 6 literal day creation account, eschatology, etc).
