Please forgive me of misspelling.tongues.
It is not that it is anything unforgivable (or, that necessarily even needs to be forgiven) - it is the simple reality that - in general - folks are not going to take you seriously if you cannot even get the thread title correct. We all make mistakes; however, anyone who will not take the time to see to it that the title of the thread is correct to-the-letter/character - is too lazy, too much in a hurry, too <something> - and, it can come across in an apathetic/nonchalant/unconcerned way that makes the thread creator appear negligent in the most basic of things where public writing is concerned.

I mean - if you (whoever) do not care enough about how effectively you communicate - how well you "present" what will essentially become "forever on the internet" - if you are not willing to make sure you "get it right" - what does that say about you?

If you (whoever) "just don't really care" whether or not you get the thread title correct (according to the specific intent that you had in mind - it may be something "silly on purpose" - this is not so much about correct spelling as it is "getting it right" in terms of what was actually intended) - that tells me something about you - and, it is not exactly commendatory.

We all know that there are folks on here who have English as a second language. This is not about translation errors.

Let me just put it this way - if I start a new thread --- if it were to take me 15 minutes to get the thread title written correctly - I am going to spend that time and consider it time well spent. Maybe that is just me...

I don't look down my nose at anyone who makes a typo - that would be silly, I do it myself at times - again, we all make mistakes; however, I try to do my best to "get it right" as much as possible for the sake of others - I was raised as a child to foster this kind of attitude - I probably just expect the same from others.

PBR - welcome to Christian Chat. :)
