I'm Deacon Jim's daughter. He went home to be with the Lord on Nov 27, 2016, nearly 2 months after he walked me down the aisle. He was the one (Well, God saved us through him questioning it all) who saved me (and himself) from the cult of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2009. (Long beautiful story) We got baptised on the same day at Harvest Hills Baptist church. 
He taught me as much as he could and always encouraged my faith. He stuck by me as I struggled with my faith but now I'm solid. I miss him very much.
I study my bible every day. Some of my favorite preachers are My old pastor, Pastor Dale, John Macarthur, RC Sproul, Charles Stanley, The Skit Guys, and Billy Graham.
I have two beautiful children. Calypso Rose 5 years, and Toby Jay Wesley 6 months.
I pray for my agnostic husband daily and always talk to him about the gospel and answer his questions the best I can. We live with my husband's mother and uncle. They are not saved either. And he has a Roman Catholic Grama that has recently tried to prove purgatory to me, unsuccessfully. She got upset with me and left calling me, "You protestant!" I am always prepared to defend my faith with scripture! It gets very lonely here being a stay at home mom, not having a regular church (I get to go maybe once every 2 months if I have a ride) My mother and I usually butt heads on scripture too. I'm more towards calvinism like my late father, and I'm not sure what she believes, but everything I say usually is met with resistance. So it would be nice to have some like minded people to talk to.
I'm an artist, photographer, and crafter. I love to do anything creative. My latest hobby is embroidery. I also love nature. We frequently have campfires in the backyard and play in the river.
