Im a catholic and im hoping to gain insight on many different areas of the faith, only properly converted 6 months ago
Welcome. So, converted from catholicism to Christian?
It is true indeed that the faith has many areas.

I am hoping that I make it to heaven, as I seem to encounter a fair bit of opposition to my goal!
Oh well, any old fish can float downstream, I guess.
Somebody has been using a bulldozer around these forums and made the road a lot wider than it's supposed to be..

Welcome Adamtheboi09. I know you can get help with generic Protestant theology in here, but I am not certain how much help with RCC theology you can find.
Hey, My intentions on CC are not to debate or study theology here (well I could but there is no need) , purely to talk to others and see how other christians are.

My family are all athiest/agnostic, so I dont have any role model to look upto in faith, so looking how others are could help me understand how I should act

Hey, sorry I didnt make my post clear.

So before I started being catholic, I guess I wouldve been non-denominational or lukewarm, I had enough of not doing anything so I did some research and had guidence, became catholic.

Thank you for making it much clearer.
The absolute best role model is Jesus Christ himself, and the apostle Paul is an excellent example of a follower. I would heartily recommend that you get your own bible, you can use the free ESV Bible which I use, but the essential thing that you will need is to repent of all your sins and accept the free salvation that Christ offers you. Then you can begin a personal relationship with Him and make progress in your new faith. Until you make that step, the Bible will be just a mystery to you and you will not receive eternal life

Hi, so I guess I would be non-denominational, ive belived for a while but never truely "picked a side"
I'm non-denominational as well. And I don't believe we should pick sides; but simply follow truth. I was just curious what you meant by converted.

Again, welcome.

I was not trying to offend, I am so sorry.😓😓

In honesty, I felt There was more to just saying "I belive" , so I did research to find my own path, not to tell others how they should worship.

over 2000 years of history to look into, including ecumentical councils (im looking into catholic ones at this time) that based the foundations of christianity and the compalation of The Bible, I felt like I should look into it incase I accidenly comit a heresy or miss interpret sricpture 😀😀😀

It made total sense to me that I should look into the early church, and the pre-denominations

thats why im catholic 🇻🇦
