Hi all, i am hoping to chat with other people who may be in a similar situation as myself. I fell as though there is a constant battle between good & evil going on inside my head. I can sit down & read scripture or be involved in some way with the Lord, yet my mind still wanders to very un-spiritual things. I honestly believe God isn't going to turn his back on me, but I can't help but wonder how long my flesh can play this game. When it comes down to it, which side will i be on in the end?
 
Hi Wiredagain. I know exactly how you feel. The enemy is on the prowl seeking whom he may devour. so every time we try to get close to God, he's right there trying to distract or undue the progress you make towards the Lord. I think the enemy knows his days are running out, so he's on overtime.
I pray that you will stay steadfast in the Lord and not give up ground to the enemy. I also pray this for myself. God Bless!

I'll be praying too! There's nothing like the power of prayer to help us during difficult times. I hesitate to share too much in chat rooms, due to my own fear of not knowing to whom I'm devulging my life issues to, but I can tell you that, for the past five years or so, life has not been easy. But the moment I stopped trying to manage things on my own and gave up all control to Him, things began to fall into place.

God Bless you both, and don't lose hope! He's with us every step of the way.

Oh, something that truly helps me is listening to K-Love. Their music inspires me and never fails to put a smile on my face. Saturate yourselves with all that's Christ, and I know thngs will start to possitively change for you, as well!
