I can only log into the forums right now. I have tried to download the new app but it does not work. I have vista operating system which no longer supports any updates. Not sure what else i can do, i have tried down loading a new flash player which want download.

The app has nothing to do with Flash. Flash is being discontinued in 2020, so many sites are already moving away from it.
You may want to download or update Adobe Air, since that is what the Windows app uses now.
But Vista will continue to hold you back. Sad thing is Windows 10 is an intrusive abomination.
