Hello Everyone, :)

I just thought I'd take a moment to properly introduce myself. I'm Joel. :)

I decided to join this page in order to meet others who possesses the same faith as I. In a very real manner, it can feel a bit disenchanting to find yourself immersed in a world where people are solely focused on the minutaie of life as opposed to what truly matters. That being said, I can most certainly understand just how difficult it is to survive in this world and as a result, anyone, inclusive of myself, can be distracted from what truly matters.

In fact, I have often experienced disenchanting moments where it felt as though God was simply no where to be found in spite of His omnipresence; however, it is my sincere hope that by joining this page, I can find othes who find themselves searching for the true meaning of this existence, Who, of course, equates to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Hello, Andy. Ephesians 6:12 is a passage that means very much to me; I'll be glad to expound as to why it means so much at another time if the notion of me doing so appeals to you.

Suffice it to say, I very much require the physical manifestation of a keyboard to type adeptly as opposed to the utilization of a cell phone where small keys and autocorrect create a perfect storm of sorts. :)
