I blasphemed against the holy spirit unintentionally?
When I said the hs is evil, I didnt mean for it to be used against the hs. I was thinking to used a word I can say without any consequences bc I knew about the unpardonable sin but I wanted to say something that wouldn't count.. I was playing with fire and I knew it but because of my anger the word evil slip right out of mouth....

Any advice....
I don't think it counts as blaspheme, it sounds like an unintentional accident, plus if it was blaspheme, I don't think you would be worrying about it and repenting from it.
I mean people who blaspheme do it intentionally, or ignorantly.

But you are doing the right thing in repenting and asking God for forgiveness.

Thanks for all the responses and encouragement but truth is I'm going to hell. Mark 3 30 explains it all. The only comfort that I have is just maybe it's on going and not a single act. Iread somewhere about imperfect tense and greek verb tense that would apply a continual but again I could be wrong.
I think the scribes addressed in Mark 3:30 actually believed that Christ was from God but would not admit to it for fear of their position over the other Jews. The fact that you spoke against God and are now regretting that, says that you have not committed the unpardonable sin.

God will draw back from us, from time to time, while we mature in Christ. Why? Because He is testing our faith. I know, I have gotten depressed and made bad decisions and from those I doubted I was still one of God's chosen. I believe when we are showing fruits of the flesh, we are not pleasing God. Have we then become unsaved? I don't think so.

Two verses come to mind when doubting God's still has claim on us:

Heb. 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Php. 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Now, ask yourself if Christ was the one that called you. If so, He can finish what He started? Also ask yourself: Did you ever come to a point where you did not believe what God has given you and that He actually exists?

I know I never stopped believing, so I think God has always had His hand on me. He would not let me die in that sinful state. But it is very humbling how our minds work while depressed. I think the humbling was necessary for the road ahead. 2cool.gif

In context, the religious leaders accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of an unclean spirit. These accusers believed what they said, and you do not. God knows our hearts and sees that you did not mean it. But even if you were truly damned forever, does that mean you stop trying to please God? You would still have do your best for Him even if He didn't offer you eternal life that you do not deserve. But now that He does offer you life, you should be encouraged to obey Him much more. Don't let this intrusive thought let you down.

Yes unpardonable sin. Because believing God by faith is source of forgiveness Those who do not believe cut off their own foot

Forgivable if committed to toward man see, but not the Holy spirit not seen

Peter was fogiveven of his blaphemy Mathew 16.(get behing me Satan) Again because it had to do with the flesh Son of man the temporal that seen. And not the Holy unseen eternal Spirit of God

Matthew 12:31-32 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Jesus died on the cross and rose again to pay the price for our sins. Because of this, God can forgive us of all our sins whatever they may be. Just look to Jesus to be your Savior. Trust in him that he is good and his love is greater than any sin.
