Hello everyone , Please take your time to read this.
I wanted to ask something. Okay i am an 18 year old guy struggling with life and sin and i truly accepted the Lord as my saviour.. Previous years i used to have a very deep and intimate relationship with Christ. But now sin had separated me from him. So now a days i am still trying so hard to stop following the world but to follow Christ only and keep praying to be filled with the Holy Spirit. So as these days gone by , something unsual from my inside soul is expressing to me that i need to stop using and following this earthly stuff but to read the bible and pray and follow God , as soon as this come , i said to myself that i must do it,but actually i could not do it. So this feeling or voice or i don't know come again second time and the same thing it talks to me and i the same thing talk to myself again as the previous. So i wanted to know is this small voice or feeling or very strong deep voice THE HOLY SPIRIT ? Is it convincing me or helping me or something ? What do you think???? God Bless You All:)

In Heb 5: 12-14:
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Heb 8: 8-12:
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 9: 14:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Rom 12: 2:
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Jam 1: 13-15:
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Jam 4: 7-8:
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
2 Cor 10: 3-5:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
1 Cor 10: 13:
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Rom 8: 5 NASB:
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

We are at war with temptation and our battles are fought within our minds. Our own lusts or the evil one's minion who use our lusts to attack us are the strongholds mentioned in 2 Cor 10: 4. These strongholds of past sins need Spirit led repentance to overcome. The Holy Spirit fulfils the promise of the New Covenant by writing the Lord's commandments and statutes into our hearts and minds. These scriptures, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, are used to purge our consciences from dead works to serve the living God.
Being attack by an previous entertained lust, is not a sin. That thought which can come out of nowhere isn't that person's fault, but when we take that temptation and play it over in our minds is where we are allowing ourselves to be enticed and that is a sin. The proper response is to resist it. When we're told not to look down, who doesn't look down? So the best way to resist these thoughts is to think about a memorized scripture or to read scripture. The evil one's minion can't stand being resisted and their own egos will make them flee. Even the attacks will slow down as the evil one's minion learn that their attacks will only lead that person to scripture. So spiritual growth from a babe-in-Christ to spiritual maturity by this process of repentance, can only be accomplished via devotions in scripture. Once this is accomplished, the Holy Spirit will apply Jesus' blood to our consciences which transforms us by the renewing of our minds.
Jn 16: 13-14:
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
2 Pet 2-3:
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
The Holy Spirit uses the word of God to be Jesus speaking to us, Spirit to spirit and we learn of him; to build us up in our faith; attain spiritual maturity; and make us partakers of the devine nature.

I will try to help by offering the following:

No one achieves moral perfection in this life, but no one who lacks divine love will reap eternal life with God (GL 6:7-8). Thus, a person who claims to be godly but who is behaving in an ungodly (unloving, untruthful) manner may be in one of the following categories:

a. a normally loving person observed during a rare moment when he/she acted uncharacteristically (PHP 3:12-16),

b. an immature Believer, who is making progress–you should have known him/her a year ago! (1CR 3:1-3, EPH 4:11-15)

c. a truthseeker who has not yet learned the correct interpretation of God’s Word (1CR 6:9-11, EPH 5:8-9), or

d. a pseudo-Christian (MT 7:21), who may affirm morality while rejecting its divine rationale.

Paul listed some sins he implied genuine Christians would not typically commit (in 1CR 6:9-10), saying: “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Apparently, although a new Christian might commit such sins occasionally, it is inconceivable (because antithetical to NT teaching) that a mature Christian would commit them so typically that the person could be classified as an adulterer, for example. Atheists might try to practice the “Golden Rule”, but the key issue for them on judgment day will be explaining what good reason they had for rejecting God rather than glorifying Him as the One who determines what is good/golden.

Sinners can overcome selfishness only by becoming one with Christ via faith in Him/God as Lord and thereby sharing His goodness because of union with His/God’s Holy Spirit. This spiritual union is denoted by references to those who have saving faith as children of God the Father (RM 8:14-16). This is why Christianity is a relationship with God motivated by gratitude for God’s grace (PS 100, EPH 2:4-8) rather than a legalistic religion of working to merit God’s mercy because of fear of punishment.

A person’s fellowship with God begins in a primitive and impersonal way when a soul becomes a truthseeker, because God’s Spirit is truth (1JN 5:6). At the moment of repentance/acceptance, God’s Holy Spirit enters their spiritual hearts (RV 3:20), uniting them with God as heavenly Father (RM 8:9) and identifying them with Christ’s worldwide/catholic body or church (CL 1:18). This manifold event is called spiritual birth or baptism (1CR 12:13). Partial knowledge of God’s Word will limit ability to cooperate with Him, so there is a need for evangelism or learning the full Gospel (MT 28:18-20, cf. ACTS 18:24-26) as well as for lifelong discipleship or spiritual training (2TM 3:16-17).

As soon as a new Christian realizes a sin was committed, he/she should confess it (1JN 1:9) rather than compound it by trying to hide it or cover it up like Adam and Eve did (GN 3:7-8). Then God will forgive, and the saint will again be in a Spirit-filled or spiritual condition. This spiritual flip-flopping might happen once a day, or it could occur several times in an hour. While this instability may be bad, failure to confess promptly is much worse, because it results in chain-sinning or back-sliding. This condition is also referred to as being carnal/worldly (1CR 3:1) or prodigal (LK 15:13) if it continues for weeks or years.

GOD'S WORD SAYS IF WE CONFESS AND REPENT GOD IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US AND WASH US CLEAN BUT KNOW SIN PULLS YOU OUT OF FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND OPENS YOUR LIFE TO SATAN'S ATTACKS. BEWARE!KEEP YOUR EYES WIDE OPEN AND YOU WILL SEE THE TRAPS SET FOR YOU IN A EFFORT BY SATAN TO RUIN YOUR LIFE!
we all miss one thing.. when we believe in jesus with our hearts jesus said we have eternal life this promise means Romans 6:14 (ESV) - “For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.” i could add many more verses but just study this and remember Romans 4:3 (ESV) - “For what does the Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.’” through our faith we are saved now and for ever the free gift of our savior

Hello brother. John chapter 4. God is Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Faith is absolutely essential. Some people lack faith. In 1 Corinthians chapter 2. Carnal minded can't understand spiritual things. Because there spiritually discerned. Holy Spirit won't convict them of sin or vearing off to wrong path.

Spiritual person will be guided by Holy Spirit. Intuitively it tells person, get back on right path. Spiritual person can discern between good fruit and bad fruit. Whether its sound doctrine or false doctrine.

Natural man can't receive holy Spirit. He walks in the flesh. He can't understand spiritual things. Just repent, study sound doctrine and pray once Day to God. Communication is the key.
I hope this helps you. Peace.

This quote may help:
[1Jo 4:1-3 KJV] 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
