I'm sorry to hear that. He probably thinks it will make his relationship with his lady better, which it almost surely won't. Their communication problems can't be fixed that way. He's basically applying leeches to his arm trying to cure a fever.

Praying for you and your brother....may the Lord lead you in what to do. Being quiet and at peace before Him will probably really help you to hear His voice. Pray, read His Word, and be calm.
