I don't have time to deal with them all, but I can make a general observation about your list. I noticed that many of your citations are single verses. The first responsibility in exegesis is to let a verse speak from within its immediate context. When someone cites a single verse, we cannot begin by importing ideas from elsewhere; we begin by asking what the author is actually doing at that moment in the argument. What is the subject he is addressing? What is the emphasis he is pressing? Only after we have located the verse inside its paragraph, its flow of thought, and its rhetorical purpose can we responsibly move outward to larger canonical connections. Good interpretation starts with the author’s own voice before it considers anyone else’s.

I have done all of that by reading the entire Bible five times, so I have a fairly good idea of the complete context and am ready to discuss specific verses considering the Author's Word whenever you have time. Happy trails until then!

any method used to interpret the word of God without a personal relationship with Christ, that don't Place Christ as the Supreme Authority on which all scriptures are built on, and help of the Holy Spirit, will never come to understand the word of God.

In the context of Orthodox Christianity, we do agree on all Essentials of the word of God that have been established as a normative with Genisis to Rev.

John 14: 6 Jesus is speaking what is an imperative.

Jesus said : I am the way. the truth, and the Life. No one goes to the Father but through Him.

the Greek says :
I AM the Hodos , the Alētheia and the Zōē

The Greek it is Jesus saying I am the Only way , The Only truth, and the Only Eternal life.

Jesu is saying I am not a way among many, "I am the only way." Jesus is not saying I am a truth among many truth's, "I AM only Truth."

Jesus is saying I AM not a life among many lives "I AM the Only Enteral Life."

There is no Other Way, Truth, or Life to MY FATHER but by ME!

the context of "Orthodox," is not a church building or name of a church. It is the foundational truth of scripture that normal Christianity holds to because they are paramount of the faith. Such as

  • Jesus without sin, and is God
  • Death, Burial and Resurrection
  • His virgin birth

Yes, that is why I refer to my creed as Christian orthodoxy:

The normative way of stating the kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in Acts 16:31, 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6) or “Love Jesus as Messiah and Lord” (John 8:42). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in these statements can be explained or elaborated as follows:

1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.

2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).

3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).

4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), which means trying to obey (Phil. 3:12, 1John 1:8) His commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2).

5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with those who freely accept Him (Rev. 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven when by means of persevering in learning Truth/God’s Word/sanctification everyone cooperates fully with His will (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4). Such cooperation can be termed “the surrendered life”.

6. This creed summarizes revelation of the NT Gospel/Truth (Matt. 26:13, John 14:6), which fulfilled the OT revelation (Matt. 5:17, John 19:30, Heb. 7:11-10:10) and culminates the search for salvation by souls who know only general revelation (Rom. 1:20, 2:14-16, Matt. 7:12). Seeking begins when souls love truth/repent of false beliefs (2Thes. 2:10&13, Matt. 4:17, 7:7), which is the Way to eternal life God wills, who is the Lord Jesus (Matt. 7:14, John 1:14, 4:24, 14:6). Lacking this love leads to believing lies and debauchery (Matt. 7:6, Rom. 1:18&25-26, 2Thes. 2:11-12).

Your creed or is it one already made?

Your creed or is it one already made?

It is what I compiled by combining all relevant Scriptures only about God's requirement for salvation,
which is what I think a creed should include. If you think I missed something crucial, please let me know.

Secondary issues can be listed in a statement of faith, as the Baptists (SBC) call theirs.

Your creed or is it one already made?

My creed is constructed by harmonizing the Scriptures that are cited having to do with God's requirement for salvation.
I am open to suggestions for improving it and have made a few adjustments since joining CC, including adding #6 just recently.

Thank you I don't live or fall by a mans creed. Unless that be the Lord Jesus Christ.

What part of the creed do you think is not that of the Lord Jesus and why with Scripture support? Thanks.
there is no Creed written in the word of God. a Creed can mirror what is already in the Bible however a creed is not authoritative word of God. The foundational truth of the word of God which our faith stand on is, Christ Crucified, buried , and resurrected.

Jesus is the chief Corner stone on which all scripture is built on.

A creed that mirrors the authoritative word of God IS the foundational truth which our faith stands on.

Your creed is "Christ Crucified, buried , and resurrected", but what does that mean?

The creed I shared is "Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28)."

Do you see that my wording merely elaborates what you said and provides supporting Scripture?
My creed also explained who God is, why we need faith in Christ, the role of the Holy Spirit, and the
importance of learning God's Word, all of which you omitted.

Which creed/way of stating God's requirement for salvation is better?

I am not sure why it matters that your creed is saying what The Nicene Creed, or Apostles Creed. The only thing I see, is it seems you do not hold to the Trinity as these two Creeds do. If I am wrong, please say so. What is the difference of "your" Creed over these two?

The problem seems to be that inferior creeds blind you from seeing the NT creed, which is what I attempt to share/reflect.

Again, your creed is inadequate because it is too short and did not even mention the Trinity, whereas mine does:

Such cooperation can be termed “the surrendered life”.
Additionally, my elaboration of the creed includes the reason humans need salvation:

What have I either left out that God requires a person to believe at least implicitly in order to be saved,
or what have I included that is not required implicitly by the normative NT way of stating the creed succinctly?

why is it I have to be Blind? That why I can't take you seriously. You are very arrogant. I asked you a question, do you hold to the doctrine of the Trinity yes or no? Your creed to me is less important than the Nicene Creed or the Apostles Creed do you hold to those two, yes or no? Simple questions.

20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you…

You do not have to be blind, but you obviously choose not to see the three points about the Trinity that I posted in #804 and again in #813. How is stating that fact being arrogant? Denying that truth and asking my view of the Trinity a third time is arrogance!

Post whatever creed you believe/hold to and we can compare it with the NT creed I shared.
If you refuse and insist on being obtuse I cannot take you seriously.

I asked you what is your "creed "that differs from the Nicene and the Apostles Creed. You said I was blind I can't take you serious when you insult and then expect me to listen to you.

Additionally, my elaboration of the creed includes the reason humans need salvation:

It also explains that God provided a way to be saved for those who lived before the Gospel was revealed:

What have I either left out that God requires a person to believe at least implicitly in order to be saved,
or what have I included that is not required implicitly by the normative NT way of stating the creed succinctly?
The normative way of stating the kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in Acts 16:31, 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6)
or “Love Jesus as Messiah and Lord” (John 8:42). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in these statements can be explained or elaborated in the six points above.
Please show your speaking on the Trinity here I don't see it either. As you said you posted on the "trinity in 804 and 813.

I looked in 804 and 813 post you did. Not one word of Trinity in any of it. Am I to assume you spoke on it?
