Let's just say you have a date next Saturday night and you're gonna cook them something, what is your specialty?

Do you bake them something decadent? Are you the grill master himself ?? Do you make a mean souffle? Let me know in the comments, bonus points for pictures.


Since I'm a baker, I'd either make a decent meal and finish it off with warm gooey brownies or maybe a maple bacon cake... dont knock it till you try it, or some sort of baked good .... I really dont even know the answer myself... I'll be thinking on it.

How traditional do we have to be? Like, are breakfast foods barred from this Saturday night meal?

'Cause I'm thinking sourdough french toast, made from my homemade sourdough bread. It would make a good supper.

Well I wasn't gonna spill the beans, but Pipp has been working on a new gluten free date and walnut cake and so she's got dates on her mind.

(And if you believe that, let's see what other believable stories I can make up about our forum denizens)

I have to agree with others that does look good. However, what made me raise my eyebrows was you said, don't knock it to you try. After you mentioned bacon, so could you so kindly point such a blasphemer out cause you had me when the magical word bacon was spoken.

Trying to get to men through their stomachs? Holy crapoly. (Advice: You don't need to do that ;))

As for me, I hate cooking. But, living alone, I will either bake salmon, trout, or nuke a few Healthy Choices or Lean Cuisines.
