Hey, I haven't been here in awhile, but I recently got out of a relationship because the guy wanted to live with me and it went against my denomination. I don't regret anything, I just miss him. We were together for over a year. I am having a hard time accepting that he is out of my life. Meanwhile it seems like he is totally over me and ready to move on. I am not sure if he is faking it or not but I am happy for him that he has moved on but I guess I need some advice...Do you all think I was right for letting him go? and I've been praying that God will give me strength to overcome this sadness that I am feeling but I continue to feel it. This was my first serious relationship. What should I do?

If you felt moving in with him wasn't good, most surely it wasnt. If he didn't understand why...I think you made the right decission. I don't think any christian would see wise to move in with his girlfriend, and I imagine this is the reason why you didn't want to right? I don't know his spiritual status because you didn't mention it but maybe this was the best for you and God has someone equally yoked with you:) The healing could take time but don't stop asking God for his comfort and peace. I'm sure He has something better for you!

Thank you so much. And yes that was the reason. We were unequally yoked so that made it alot harder. So I am happy I made that choice. He didn't understand why also which made me feel even worse. But yeah I will continue to ask God for his comfort and ever-lasting love. =)

You do that sister , I'm glad you made the right choice! :) I come from a non-christian past and my friends sometimes don't understant my change neither. It's hard when people don't understand and I imagine it was even harder for you being your boyfriend. But nothing is impossible with God, I'm glad you didn't succumbed to the pressure. God bless you!
