I'm not trying to annoy anyone.
I'm kind of confused . So I don't really feel remorse or sorrow over my sin and I can't say I feel hate towards it . Like i don't love sin anymore, well I try not to I guess, but I feel like sin is just there and I've stopped caring about it. I try not to , but I've focused so much on these blasphemous thoughts, which might not even be intrusive , but a mere habit. I dont know. Alot of people speak about having needed to repent in order to be forgiven . And I'm confused, i don't omt really care about these thoughts anymore , and I'm used to them now, so I domt know...... like I guess i don't want to sin, but I don't think I take it as far as I should. Like when you repent you're apparently supposed to hate that sin so much you never want ti do it again. I dont want to sin, but like .. .
I'm just confused. Like, I believe that I have believed in Jesus and I think my trust is in him, but if I dont repent as I should , then am I right to doubt my salvation? Oh goodness . ...

I read the stories of some people in similar situations as mine. So do I just try to stop sinning and thats enough? Or am i expected to go to the extremes I'm order for it to be legitimate. Am I too complacent? People say , just focus on Jesus, and what he has done and not what I can't and can do.... I don't know what's up with me sometimes.

Hello Kaykel :) I suppose in these times of social distancing, it is not so easy to find other things to do to occupy yourself and keep your mind focused on more positive things as much as possible, but it is still not impossible. Do you have any passions, talents, or abilities that you could turn to glorifying God somehow? Rather than putting your attention on what you feel is wrong or missing or lacking, try concentrating more on those things for which you are grateful, and express that gratitude to God and those around you. It will help you produce a clearer definition of your purpose, and hopefully also help settle your mind.

You haven't died with Christ, and, therefore, you need to crucify the flesh in order to be raised with him into new life. This video will help you if you truly want to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Here's a short transcript from a section of the video with the approximate time noted.

(3:54) Only a sinless man can be born of God by the Spirit of God. And so, we must first die together with Christ and his cross and have our sins washed away. And when we do, we’re sinless. And why are we sinless? Because at that moment, we had our sins washed away: white as snow. White as snow: sinless. You’re not born again yet, if you think of this in terms of chronological time. You’re not born again yet. Having your sins washed away means you died with Christ. Being born anew is new life. And having had our sins washed away, we are then made sinless: white as snow. And being sinless, we can then be born anew: born again, born from above, born of God. You have to understand that. You have to be sinless to be born of God.

Christ died for sinners like you and me. There is none righteous, no, not one.
"Everyone who resides in him does not sin; everyone who sins has neither seen him nor known him. Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Jesus is righteous. The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed: to destroy the works of the devil" 1 John 3:6-8.

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:8-9

It doesn't sound like you want the "programmed Christian answers". And I am hardly the one to give them.

It's very easy to become "ok" with sin and sinful thoughts. I myself am as guilty as anyone when it comes to them.

However, as your question is geared towards "response" to sin, I'll give you my answer for what it is worth. We should continually ask God to forgive us of our sins. Whether it be something the world considers minor such as the telling of the white lie, to something that may be a little more addictive such as "sins of the flesh" to something horrific like murder. It's all sin, and all ultimately separates us from God.

I am not one that believes that they can lose their salvation. I am a strong believer in the grace of God. He knew your heart when you accepted Christ into it.

So how does this translate into daily life? Be aware of your own short-comings and failures in the sin department. Let them get to you, and ask God to forgive you of the sin you commit, and be genuine about it. God knows your heart. But when you do genuinely ask for forgiveness, forgive yourself too. God promises us that the sin is forgiven and He forgets it.

Remember, He loves you more than anyone ever could. Remember that relationship, and remember the things that brought you to Him in the first place.

Be well!
