Hi, Peace and Blessing to you all.

I was born Catholic but I converted to the Coptic Orthodox Church at the age of 15 where I found my home. My faith is most important to me and I love God unconditionally with all my heart and strive to walk in righteousness before him. Now I'm 20, in college and I'm stumbling and feeling like an outsider among most of my peers. I also fear for the state of the world, modern society and my generation have moved so far away from God.

I joined to find friendship and to learn more about other denominations.

Welcome. Could you explain how you are stumbling and why you feel like an outsider? I'm guessing that the outsider part has to do with a lack of faith in God in your fellow-students, but I figured that I should ask.

Hi Chamomilla glad you are joining us, welcome to CC! One can be a Christian amongst others just by being a Jesus they can see. There has always been bad in this world but rest assured there is also revival going on as well. God bless & keep you and look up how many times God's word says 'Fear not', & 'Do not be afraid' etc🙏🙌

Welcome Chamomilla, there are many denominations, and I know some about most from the western traditions, RCC and Protestant, including anabaptist, but I am far weaker on the Orthodox ones. Perhaps you can teach us about your tradition as you learn about the western ones.
