Hi Folks,

I am hoping to find an online fellowship for f/t ministry men via this forum and am looking for suggestions.

I work in ministry that is very stressful, solitary and confidential environment (that threatens to exhaust me emotionally, at times) and need a confidential and somewhat anonymous environment where I can talk and relate (not directly about my work).

I have broad interests such as biking and camping and canoeing, winter camping and cross country skiing. I am also a film buff and love a variety of genres. I am well educated and well read and have a keen interest in politics, world affairs and community building. I have a vibrant family life and have been securely married for over 3 decades.

I have matured, overcome and seen healing for personal issues of attachment wounding (I can explain privately), and issues related to rejection/emotional orphanhood and emotional immaturity. I have struggled with carnality in various realms as I have matured as a man and Christ-follower. I am very experienced with receiving a variety of forms of counselling and ministry and am willing to share this expertise.

I am looking for mature male fellowship (men who can remain themselves under pressure and know how to regain composure in healthy ways from extreme situations) and co-mentoring and mutual accountability. I am willing to mentor a few younger men.

Feel free to reply privately or to this thread. I look forward to being a part of this "community" and giving freely of what I have in Jesus.

Welcome to the site Dave. It's so wonderful to have you here. I believe there is a men's forum that should be visible to you either immediately or after a few days (if anyone wants to correct me on that feel free cos I am really really not sure) that may be useful to you. I hope you have a wonderful experience here

Dave, welcome to cc my prayer is that God would use you in a mighty way like never thought possible. I'm a preachers kid and its tough being in the ministry I know. May God bless you greatly for being a man of God. God Bless.
