Hi Glenda. Welcome. If you're looking for real time chatting, I recommend clicking on the christian chat app link up top and downloading the chat app for the live chatrooms. Here in the forums it's more of a people may answer you hours later and maybe because of that we tend towards more topical discussions than small talk. You can do either or both; whatever fits you best.
