I don't even know what apologetics is . Is that a forum for saying SORRY ?

The word apologetics itself stems from the Greek word apologia, which means simply an answer given in reply.

One definition of apologetics:
“… arguments or writings in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine.”

So in a forum like this one, in theory at least, apologetics would refer to a systematic argumentative discourse, which doesn’t sound too bad.

In apologetic discussions alternative views of a topic are offered for discussion. It doesn’t have to be argumentative in the sense of being quarrelsome, however, to be honest, it too often becomes a heated discussion because (many) people are very passionate about their beliefs and are very emotionally invested in having their views prevail, often more so than in compromise or consensus.

Not everyone will agree with my thoughts here, but this is one view.

Well sadly when reading the Forums I don't see a lot of answering with RESPECT and GENTLENESS. But that is probably as it all TEXT not SPEECH. Tone of ones answer can sometimes be the difference and no TONE on TEXT only answers

So safer to stay away . For me anyway.

I understand completely and I am often saddened that two or more brothers and sisters in Christ are at vehement odds over “the details”.

We know who the winner is when we lose site of the Lords commandment:
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you,”
A commandment, not a suggestion.
But that is probably as it all TEXT not SPEECH. Tone of ones answer can sometimes be the difference and no TONE on TEXT only answers.
A great observation and why it is so very important to be respectful on the forum.
So safer to stay away . For me anyway.
I would be sad to see you go as you seem just the type of person we could all learn from.
Whatever you decide God Bless you and all those you love.

How come it is scary to post in the forums? Is it shyness feelings
Because when I read the other forums one posts then another challenges them . I am not here to be challenged nor to challenge others
not saying it right or wrong for others . It is just not for me

My autism doesn’t help so I know I can read things wrong and take what people say wrongly

As I said I feel safe here

Perhaps I can stay and make friend here lol

Well tried chatting to a few people , I just not sure if they really who they say they are . Or perhaps just playing mind games Well if it a gane they win , no competition from me .

Will continue to wait patiently on the Lord to send me friends, Autism makes it hard to know how to make friends

There is nothing He can't or won't heal, appropriating His healing is our mission.
When we claim it with "I have this condition ", or "I have that condition" it becomes a part of our identity. Happens to all of us. When we realize ALL sickness, disease, accidents, etc. are an attack of the enemy then our mind is becoming renewed to see the world through His eyes, and this is required of us.
We may be given a diagnosis by a Dr. we don't have to 'receive" it.
I am thankful you are here, friend.
