I'm a frequent user of the Bible Gateway, Got Questions, and YouVersion apps for mobile, all of which have skins or themes which are referred to as either high visibility or night themes. Generally these have black backgrounds with white text, and are sometimes considerably easier on the eyes, especially at night.

I don't think it's something that necessarily everyone would want or utilize, but I do know my eyeballs would be excited to see the day something like this were implemented.

I always use it on every program that offers it. I love it. And, it is nowhere nearly as distracting to those around you as that glaring white background.
