I look in awe at the stars at night,

And whisper in Your ear.
A softly spoken prayer of Love,
Along with a grateful tear.

To think that the King of the universe,
Loves me as I am.
Help me now sweet Messiah,
To fully understand.


That a girl like me can make You smile,
After all I’ve put You through.
Knowing the blood shed upon Your cross,
Has made this girl new.

A love, from above I can never repay,
Will take me through the veil,
To the home of my sweet Jesus,
And a love that never fails.
