goodness me . what brought on that post ? I do love respect & honour my husband, but he makes it easy cause he treats me like a princess & loves me & my kids & would do anything in his power to protect us & provide for us.
I hope you do the same & take in to account 1 peter 3v7 ... treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

This is going to be good. I guess I agree with you, if...
Ephesians 5, verse 23, says "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior." To expect submission from their wives, men must exhibit the qualities of Christ; love, gentleness, forgiveness, strength and compassion. Only if men keep up their end of the biblical bargain, can they expect their wives to keep up theirs.
Have at it.

Thank you. Thats what I was gonna say.
How can a man expect submission/obedience if he is not a good leader. Thats why it is so important to choose a person who demonstrates those qualities BEFORE you get married. Before I let a man be the head of my household, he has got to show me that he makes wise decisions and values me and my decisions. Those, among other things, are qualities of a good leader.

Yeah... he simply restarted an old thread when he got too many replies he disagreed with, I guess?
I'm not sure why he does that, but I won't bother replying twice to the same post, at least not with the same effort.
If you want to know the Truth of what the Word is saying, not only read the scripture verses, but also learn the history and the context of what those verses tell us, as commanded in God's Word.
