How someone could read Acts 15 and come away thinking that a believer is under the law is amazing when it says in clear and evident words that the Holy Spirit and the Apostles did not want them under the law..... Its amazing the blindness of legalism!

Ac 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
22 ¶ Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gaveno such commandment:

What part of the law is Paul telling us we are delivered from here?

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Ro 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Ro 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Heb 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandments going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

These are sins against the law of the Spirit of life in Christ...not the law of Moses....which was only a shadow of the Spirit...its says plainly that they are not under the law...and the law is not "kept" in parts hear and there...that's insane ! and that is completely unbiblical and it dishonors the law and the grace of God!

These are part of the law of the Spirit, yes, but they were taken from the mosaic laws as the only things from the original ordinances the gentile believers were to follow. They were discussing the mosaic law as a whole because some were teaching we had to follow all of them, so they came together with the Holy Spirit's guidance. And said no these are the only things that should still apply.

yes, this is what I said the other day. and no one is denying this, maybe you guys should look up what denying means.

Actually yes, Mitspa has been denying this and then tries to flip it around and say we are trying to put people under the mosaic laws. Which is not the case, as me and a few others have said the mosaic laws do not apply to us. However there are still commandments and guide lines that believers are still to follow by under the new covenant, and the Holy Spirit will guide you in all these things. Nobody accept for two people I have seen on here is trying to put people back under all 613 mosaic laws. I am not one of them, as Mitspa keeps trying to flip and twist it around to say. I am just pointing out we are to keep what they said in Acts 15, the 10 commandments, and everything the Lord said in the gospel books. To deny any of that is to deny the truth.

The law (written code) was only a shadow of the Spirit...The law is Spiritual.... and clearly they was not saying your under this part of the law and that part...that's so unbiblical its sad that you would even suggest such a thing! Its clear they was (commanding) that these believers not be put under the law...but to keep spiritual purity.... If you just took what they said as the only standards of the law we have to keep...that leaves out almost every commandment of the law.....so which is it?

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I (Yahshua/Jesus) speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I (Yahshua/Jesus) speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

Matt 5:18, "For truly I (Yahshua/Jesus)say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, Yahweh Shammah, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

I think your bible is broken?

We are not righteous by following the Law of the Creator, but the Yahsua showed the intent or ultimate result of keeping the Law of the Creator.

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith--the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away in 1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9. Unless of course telos means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

Yaaqob (James) 5:11, "Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Iyyob, and have seen the ultimate result (telos) of Yahweh: that Yahweh is very compassionate and merciful."

believers are not under the law ...but believers establish the law....how can one establish the law without doing what the law says???the reason you are not under the law is because you are dead to the flesh but alive in the Spirit...the reason you establish the law is because you have control over the flesh....and do not fulfil the lust thereof ....I really cannot make it simpler than that...

You explained that great IMO.

Ezekiyl 36:26-28, "A new heart; mind, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

Yeremyah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

and we give God the glory.....but not all will understand.....

Psalm 40:16, "May all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You! May those who love Your Salvation always say: May Yahweh be magnified!"

True and I dont want any to get offended, but Spiritual mind;

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Romans 8:5-8 (ESV), "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God."

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means!How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

with that in mind it is easier to understand....the spiritual mind is subject to the law of the Spirit of Christ and the flesh is subject to the law of the flesh/sin...
Romans 7:25
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

We uphold the law and its true standard...not break the law into parts here and there to try to justify ourselves through the flesh.... We use the law for its purpose "to make the whole world guilty before God" not to water it down to justify a bunch of hypocrites!

Ro 3:19 ¶ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Its really sad the Holy Spirit has been turned into the accuser which is what (satan) means...No where in the bible does it teach that the Holy Spirit convicts a BELIEVER of sin...but the world of sin, because they do not believe and the believer of righteousness.

This doctrine has tuned the comforter into the accuser .. it is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

You will notice that the same folks who believe we are justified by the works of the law, are the same folks who cant understand that the Holy Spirit convicts the believer of righteousness and not sin...
