Home Depot offers free classes on Saturday here. I think it may only be the first Saturday of the month. Your kids can go and do a cool project FREE. So Saturday morn from 9-12 they are busy doing something creative and learning skills. Just wanted to share that with everyone. Also, if your looking to get the kids out of the summer heat....in our area I found free movie day, art museum, Home Depot, library offers a fun hour once a week with different adventures and groups that come entertain them such as the zoo. Lots more if you look around in your area!!!!

This sounds much better then stacking firewood, which was my Saturday morning activity.
Parents go do things with your kids, they NEED you!

I have no kids, so this holds no use for me personally, but it sounds like a nice idea for those with kids. Thanks for sharing, berrygurl.

REI offers courses for free too. Like map reading and compass usage, bike repair, etc. Usually for free.
