i know there are few individuals who doesn't drink... go partying... go clubbing... so i'm just curious who they are...

I don't go partying either , i don't have fun going to a club drinking overly expensive drinks and meeting the wrong kind of people.
Heyyy I'm one of those people! My idea of fun is going bowling with my husband (in our dry county) or going to the zoo!

i used to do those things but just because my friends enjoys doing those things... then i realize that even if i try to be like them then i wouldn't be happy anyway... so now i don't care anymore... my true friends understands and still like me for who i am... though, i still hang out with them like go shopping, movies, etc... but only those things we both like withut compromising each others interests... and i wasn't surprise my other friensds who can no longer invite me to drinking parties stopped reaching out... i'd rather have true friends anyway...

I've never been one for debauchery. My idea of a hot Saturday night is staying indoors and watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail (guess what I'm doing RIGHT now. )

Went out with a buddy to the bar the other night. Before we went I made him drink a liter of orange juice and then we had a couple of cokes at the bar. He never got his beer like he wanted.

I am a definite home-body. I prefer to be at home in a calm, quiet environment most of the time.
I do like to go out, but not to clubs, to parties, etc. I always feel too uncomfortable in those situations, though I sometimes can go out of my shell and invoke the extroverted side of my personality.
I prefer to do activities that are more relaxed. I really have to push myself to go to parties, because normally I think I won't be fun at the party so it will be a waste that I even go. But, in the cases where I do attend parties, I've found that they were not such a big deal, and I felt really comfortable.
So... I've learned that I can just go with the flow and if someone invites me to do something, then I should not be afraid, but embrace the situation and have fun with it.

We all go through it at one level or the other. Some of us makes it through it and once we find Christ we don't want anything to do with it. Some gets lost in it and never makes it out. You can get high on Jesus and never come down. It's pure and clean. I don't have anything to do with drinking, partyingi know there are few individuals who doesn't drink... go partying... go clubbing... so i'm just curious who they are...
( as you are talking about ) there is a good kind of partying. Or clubbing. I don't even care much about TV. I work out of state a lot. I'm either at the job or at the hotel. But now I have found christian chat and we have hit it off pretty good. I love telling people about Jesus and how much he loves us. This world is hurting and it need to know about Jesus. God Bless

Does anyone feel that their lack of ... just going out with other people has limited their sociability?
From time to time, I feel so different from other people, because I've made this constant effort to avoid going out.
Thus I feel like I've missed out on so many things that other people have enjoyed in life.
How do you others feel?

Socializing is just like everything else. If you haven't done it in a while then it's hard to do. Sometimes on the weekend after going two days without leaving my room I step outside into a sea of people and I feel out of place. I feel awkward and like I want to crawl back inside.
But just like everything else, socializing gets easier when you practice. So practice a little, and make an effort to get out and around people every day even if you're not talking to them directly. It at least gets you in the frame of mind for being around people. Makes you more comfortable to see and interact with them.
And I haven't had a good friend in real life for ten years. At least not like I had when I was younger. So I feel I've missed out on some awesome parties and get-togethers with genuine Christian friends, but thank God for immortality. haha I know I'll have a few more chances to have some fun.
