So there is a way things should be? Like, a kind of rule that everyone should follow, but if they don't follow the rule, they're wrong?
 
In my opinion I think society get's things wrong sometimes like taking the rights from someone for there sexual preference it's nonsensical. But I see what you're trying to do nice try. :)

Jimmy let me put it simply....You are wrong! Every man/woman is equal so rights should be too. No more explanation needed.

Ah, so there is a "should be" when it comes to rights. That is what we call Objective morality in philosophy.

Objective morality is a proof for the existance of God.

I know the definition but you have no evidence it's a theory and this is my last post on this thread as we are going round in circles, keep posting your vids i'm sure someone may watch them.

ok this has gotten way out of hand and crept its way into too many post my friends. here are the FACTS about homosexuality

1 corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

leviticus 18:22
“‘Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

leviticus 20:13
“‘If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

if you dont want to accept the facts and you want keep making this feel righteous in your own minds than i pray for you to look in the bible for more answers.
 
They are not FACTS they are ramblings of a few people 3500 years ago who were prejudice towards the thought of it.

Sorry to say Corinthians couldn't have said that in the original Hebrew, as there WAS no word for homosexual. Try again.

Also, Leviticus's original translation literally meant 'in the same bed as a woman' Meaning cheating on woman with a man. Common practice in those times, especially RAPE, which is what the whole story of the angel was even about.
 
so if you do not beleive that the bible is the word of god then what is the point of even registering on a christian support website? are you merely trying to take other souls down with yours or are you seeking truth?
 
these verses are out of the NIV which yes i agree can be wrong sometimes but not on this
 
The same reason Christians register on Atheist sites I suppose to talk and discuss, there's being a Christian and then there's being ignorant and prejudice.

You clearly do not know your Biblical history but I'll help you out. There is NO word in Hebrew that means "homosexual." But there is a word for rape of another man. Which is the word used in Corinthians.

Also, the men in Sodom didn't want to make love to the angel, they wanted to brutally and murderously rape him. Very different things.

psymon, if beleiving in christ makes me ignorant and prejudice then so be it
 
You are not paying attention here I said there are christians and then there are Ignorant and prejudice people the 2 don't go hand in hand but you seem to match both criteria. :)
