12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[a] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[b]
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

That part of the Bible is a very good explanation of a balanced and logical way to live as a Christian. I could do anything I want, but as a Christian I understand there are some things I don't want to do because they cause a lot of junk that, again as a Christian, I don't want to cause.

It works for a lot of things, actually, not just being a Christian. If you tell yourself you can't eat cake because you're trying to lose weight, or you can't have a drink because you are recovering from being an alcoholic, it just makes you want it more. When you understand that you have the freedom to do anything you doggone well please, but there are some things you choose not to do because you don't want to put up with the consequences, it makes it a lot easier.

From Acts 15:20 plus 28 Abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond these essential requirements

For some reason I don’t see anything on this post either. Maybe it’s my phone.

I can see the images but then they are also in my cache, although when I first post them, sometimes
they do not show up, or only part of the panel loads, and not the rest until later. I am not sure how
viewing on your phone would affect anything, though... yet, when I am at work and on my phone, or
out somewhere else and on my phone, I do see images, including my panels... if it was an image host
error, I think a default blue image would show up saying something about an error, so you may just
need to give it some more time? And hopefully they will eventually show up for you...

I did just need to give it more time. Now I know. Thank you for clarifying.

Sometimes I wonder about the food polluted by idols part. I might have to ask Biblequestions.com.

I think if everyone wrote scripture here, instead of writing back like I am, we can all edify one another as you are doing to me.
