Honour in a friendship between people of opposite gender, what a beautiful thing!
When unrelated and un-spoused people are put together, seemingly by chance, but as believers we know it is the work of the Holy Spirit. Connected thru the shared love for Jésus, this truly gives us a glimpse of heaven.
None of that "friendwithbenefit" nonsense which is basically giving each other the right to use one another. Not at all what was intended by God. How can fleshly motivations be any good for us? We know it means death:
"Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
Not saying it is easy to maintain, we are only human,that's why we are advised to "guard our heart cos it is the wellspring of life" and to "be sober and vigilant"
