Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer cold weather with gray skies without snow. I know it probably sounds strange but I love when its cold and cloudy. I prefer no snow or ice though b/c I don't know how to drive on either.
 
I live in Michigan, so I get pretty tired of the winter. I like the summer days a lot more. I like wearing shorts, and imo, it's easier to go from being hot to cooling off than it is to go from being cold to trying to warm up. When it's hot, I can just go jump in a swimming pool. I also love swimming and just being in the water, so that's another reason I like summertime more than winter.

I prefer a hot tropical climate during the day because it helps my arthritis. On the other hand I prefer cool temps at night so I turn the air-con on to keep cool.For freezing cold or snowy weather I'll go along with the birds and head south for the winter, Hot tropical days and cool nights works good for me, thanks for letting me share.

hm...

I think cold, the kind of cold there is when you wake up in the morning and its winter, so everything is kinda gray. With fog, and when you speak you can see your breath. But its the kind of cold that makes you want to get hot chocolate or sit with your family and play board games.

In summary, I like winter cold. Which is kind of ironic because I live two blocks from the beach. :D
 
I would rather walk through the dessert in a fur coat while eating jalapeno potato chips than to be cold.

I would agree with you that cold weather without snow is preferable to hot weather. You can bundle up and stay warm if it's not too cold.
