July 19th

The House on Tuesday passed legislation to codify same-sex marriage nationwide and strengthen other marriage-equality protections, in a direct reaction to the Supreme Court's recent ruling that overturned long-standing federal abortion rights.

The bill, which passed 267-157, was expected to make it through the Democrat majority of the House. But it faces an uncertain future in the Senate, where passage will require at least 10 Republican votes.

Forty-seven Republicans voted for the bill alongside all Democrats.

Just as expected. Thomas foretold what was coming.

Next Codification bill, birth control.

Doubt the Senate will vote for the Bill

But, who knows?

Clearly, there are fourty seven Republicans that are not true Conservatives, right?

I think there are enough RINO's in office to make for serious concerns.

Congress can override SCOTUS.
SCOTUS cannot write laws.
Yea that's why we need the SCOTUS to act fast and overturn the blasphemy of marriage before the party of Satan sets up devices to try to maintain it.

Congress can codify gay marriage. The house has already agreed to the first part of that endeavor. If the Senate concurs, gay marriage could be enshrined into federal law. Likely shall.

SCOTUS could overturn that law under the claim it's unconstitutional.
However, I'd project that to be highly unlikely.

Gays are considered a minority. If SCOTUS overturned a federal law giving equal right and protection to gays under just the 14th amendment, and others, racist activists could pursue repeal of interracial marriage.

Which will never happen. A repeal. Though the same argument fostered to repea;l a gay marriage federal law protection could be made against that of interracial.

Because back in the day interracial marriage in the states was illegal on the same common ground arguments as is put forth against gay marriage then and to this day.

Better kill them in the Senate and overturn the abomination against love then quickly at the same time. Speed is of the essence oh geriatrics, strike while the iron is hot, don't think the Devil's army is going to hold back and wait.
