how about a forum on parenting

how about a forum on giving parents advice that may go under famly forum though.
 
The trouble with the Family forum is that it's mainly "Help! My marriage is in trouble!" type threads, or occasionally "My siblings are driving me crazy" type threads.

It's kinda sad that the Family forum is the most depressing one on this site.

I like the idea of a parenting forum, but I suspect it would be slower and dead..er...than the Family forum :/

Do people still do that? I thought that died a long time ago along with politeness and personal accountability.

I dunno, I've got a couple of kiddos that I kinda parent. Since, I'm a parent. Apparently. Oh goodness, I need a nap.
 
yeah Ii am a stay at home mom sometimes parenting can be wild I have 3 teans and 2 little ones and I admidt it can be tough but my hardest momments were more so with teaching teens I just pray and teach them the best to my knoledgebut sometimes I do need advice,I have talk to my boys about mits wrong to have sex before mariage it was imbarissing to sit them down and talk to them,but I know they need to knowLike I said its a challenge.

Just ask me. I have more knowledge of the topic than someone with no kids should have haha =P
 
I think the parenting advice that would come from much of CC would be a tragedy.

Focus on the Family is generally a good resource.

They have a good radio program I sometimes listen to though I do not have family to parent.
 
I think this is a wonderful suggestion! I'm not a mom but I am a full time nanny and I take care of children all day, every day. I could appreciate advice!
 
I like the idea of a parenting forum. I have kids that I am trying to raise well rounded in a Godly life, but with so much stimulation from the world and the bad examples, sometimes it's hard to know what to say to not push them toward what their friends are doing... lol advise would definitely help in some situations!
