How and where to find solace?
The situation turns the victims of adultery off in such a way that, at first, they only find relief with the death of the adulterer:

We need to turn away or recoil from everything that can turn us flustered, discomfit, flimsy in the faith, etc. After all, how can we be reference of goodness, pity, grace, forgiveness, peace, etc., if we crave for the nemesis ensuing the transgressor?
Fortunately, there is a console for those who believe in Christ:

- “Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; For jealousy is the rage of a man; therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. He will not take any ransom; nor will he be willing if you multiply the gifts.” (Proverbs 6.32,34,35).
