How are your eyes? Opened for what Jesus is about to do through you, or opened for what the world has to offer?

• Pro 20:13 -> “Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will have plenty of bread.”.

For you having plenty of bread, you should open your eyes to the harvest that Jesus prepared for you:

• Joh 4:35-38 -> “Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.” “.

Unfortunately, many times our sight is compromised like the vision of the apostles:

• Joh 4:32,33 -> “But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” So the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?” “.

May Jesus work on our understanding too:

• Joh 4:34 -> “Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.”.

And the worst is that, many times, we aren’t figuring out the greatness of the harvest of the Creator, desiring all the harvest for us (such as it does many pastors which try their best to attract more and more members toward their denominations). Nonetheless, the harvest is plentiful:

• Luk 10:2 -> “And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

I know that this can sound a contradiction once Jesus also said:

• Mat 24:12 -> “And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”.

The harvest is great because is comprised of weeds and wheat (Mat 13:30). And the reapers are few because there are few believers that really care about those who Jesus brings to His Church to the point of welcome them like someone special (as children in faith) in their life in order to instruct them in a right way to be followed.

So, have a good day reaping the souls that Jesus brings to you and these promises will be fulfilled in your life:

• Psa 126:5,6 -> “Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”.
• Ecc 11:1 -> “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.”.
• 1Co 15:58 -> “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”.
