Hi everyone! My name is Dimko and I`m newcomer here. This website seems to be a right place to meet people and find some marvellous thoughts. Or share my own. )
I have a question for you, guys. This one disturbed me for a long time.
From one day to another, everyday, we have problems and they must be solved. Decisions need to be taken immediately or as soon as possible. They might be really tricky to overcome, I mean, with two or more almost equal choices. I know, that there everything is possible with God`s help. And I pray to Him for His guideline and advice. But it`s not an easy task for my poor soul to recognise His will or to hear His advice.
What are yours thoughts on it? Any tips?
Thank you and may Almighty Father always be with us.

The way that serves me well.....I get peace with the decision. ...and no confusion....
then I know its from God......if i'm stressing over a decision then it isnt from God....
And if you think it might be wrong......it probably is.....

Welcome my brother.....I hope you enjoy your time here........peace....jo

well its not you that will recognise, its the spirit in you that will recognise God's will, you just have to learn to listen to your spirit

Hi Brother Dimko. This possible choice has to be in the Bible first of all, it has to be Biblical.

Second, if we obey God, he gives us more light for the next step.

I hope this helps.

Hey Dimko, welcome! All good advice here. Let the peace of God rule (or umpire) in your heart (Colossians 3:15) when you make decisions. Stay close to the Word, as everything in it is God's perfect will. The close you are to God, the easier it is to hear His voice :) God bless you man!

Glory to God! Thank you, guys, so much! You have been the most helpful!

Dimko, it always helps when you know God’s word because that little voice inside of you can sometimes lead you astray. If your little voice is outside the guidelines of God’s word it is normally our own desires kicking in.

Psalm 37:23
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Proverbs 4:12
When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.

You're welcome here! I guess for me, because I tend to overthink things a lot, sometimes I have to stop, pray about the decision, and then go forward from there. Of course if it's a choice between doing something that's an obvious sin, that's different, but when it's between two things that seem equal sometimes you just have to pray that God's will will be done in it. God is in control and he will work out his will no matter what and put you exactly where you need to be. It's a lot easier than overthinking, I've found XD

1. 1 Samuel 23:2
Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And
the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

2. 1 Samuel 23:4
Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said,

3. 1 Samuel 30:8 (Ziklag)

4. 2 Samuel 2:1
And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into

shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

5. 2 Samuel 5:19
And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver

Something else that is helpful is to have our minds renewed daily by the Word of God:

Romans 12:2 "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (WEB)

Hello and welcome Dimko, delighted to have you here. May the Good Lord fill you with his peace and lend you his wisdom in helping you finding his way in him. God Bless.

That is an incredibly hard question. Unfortunately, to my knowledge there is no quick answer. If you feel him nudging you, then go that way. Do not act selfishly and see what best serves him.
Father in Heaven, help to show this man what you want in the decisions he must make. Make your voice more evident to him, as he desperately wants to do right by you. Amen.
