How do I become friends with a girl without her thinking that I like her?

Women are often impressed by extensive biblical knowledge and a pretensious heir of superiority so try that next time and when she's amazed at what a great guy you are , then go for the hug. Oh I'm sorry I got confused, in this case, if you don't want to be more than friends, then ditch the air of superiority, instead you maybe should moan and groan, pretend you are down and out on your luck, and the compassion and sympathy shown will forge a friendship. You want her to feel pity and sorry for you.

your right snail, i always enjoy being friends with a man that moans and groans... really LOUDLY
 
from a females perspective, i would suggest that if you don't want to give her the wrong idea, be careful about one on one time, physical touch is a dangerous thing (even if it is a pat on the back), be careful not to buy her things all the time..... i think its best to keep things in a group situation where accountability is available. As guys respond to the physical (thats why girls should dress modestly), girls respond to the emotional.... so be really careful. thats all i can give to you really
 
I only do hang out in groups. But yeah, I am touchy person when it comes to girls. Probably because they rarely want to touch me at all(not talking about that in a sexual way, though they won't do that either obviously.)
 
Well if you wear a pair of giant hands, you can touch them without actually touching them, plus they will be able to see your hands coming.
 
touching them in any way whether it be a hug or a pat on the back is enough to make them think you may like them, some girls are impressionable, and i must admit i've fallen for guys in the past when they have so much as brushed their hand against mine. so be careful
