How do I give up my Pride? my pride of control and independence

One of the biggest mistakes Christians make is thinking that when God reveals something about us that needs fixing, that we are supposed to do it. This isn't so. You have rightly discerned what God is up to, but you have falsely assumed He wants you to fix it. What God is actually doing is revealing what He is going to correct in you. But He wants to do so with your cooperation. Read Philippians 2:12-13. We are to work out what God is working in us.

So don't try to fix yourself. God will handle that. But while God is doing this in you, spend the time getting to know God. That's what He is most interested in.

Prayer. Keep praying and believing. We don't really have that much control anyway, might as well trust in the One who does.

i am a control freak, i just fear that nothing will happen and i will stay were i am

God doesn't let us stay as we are. He is always conforming us into the image of Christ. He even uses our mistakes and shortcomings to work to our good. Let go...and let God.
