How do you feel about South Park, or Family Guy?

you've gotta remember to take stuff light-heartedly. i wouldn't show it to younger children - but you're old enough to make decisions about what your going to take on board when you watch stuff like that.
 
For a mature audience; Family Guy is okay. But South Park has too much profanity in it for my taste. I only watched part of 1 episode once, but I found it disgusting. :mad:
 
Growing up, I wasn't allowed to watch those shows. Actually the other day I was watching Family Guy and the dog was at the library and he met a girl who wanted the same book, the problem was that there was only one book, So he said "If there's a god two books will appear" Nothing happened. They both laughed. It kinda hurt me to watch that because it was as though they were saying that there was no God. Personally, I don't watch those shows. I feel like it is up to the viewer to choose to watch them or not.
 
When I actually used to watch Family Guy I saw that one too and it really hurt me as I dont think its funny to joke about God's existence I have never watched that foolishness since !!!!

I've seen them all. They are hilarious, although not very appropriate for your everyday Christian routine. But if you're mature enough, they're great for some laughs.
 
Both shows takes the Lord's name in vain... My brain twitches when I hear those "phrases".
 
I used to like Family Guybut I was convicted to sell all my DVD box sets as it was not appropriate.
I have never watch South Park, I understand it is full of filthy ungodly language and references and would not allow it in my house.

Ok so I had a nice time reading all these responses. I would have to agree that we should refrain from watching these shows. The devil is our enemy not our friends. That would be like a drug addict being saved hanging around drug dealers. Or an adulterer who just got saved hanging around strip clubs.

You basically don't wanna leave a foot hold for the devil or his demons to RE-enter. I think watching these shows is giving an invitation for demons to just chillax in your home and your mind. Not cool.

Family Guy is not tame at all, they make many references to incest, rape, murder, adultery, blasphemy, and more. So does South Park on a larger scale. The creators of both shows are satanists. Matter of fact Trey Parker and his buddy both made a movie called orgazmo. A movie based on a male porn star.

Whether you go to hell or heaven is not up to anyone but god. But like Caleb said why roll in this stuff?

You mine as well pull out a ouija board while your at it.

I mean people are at different levels of faith so its not a HUGE HUGE deal but once you know the truth going back would be like being set free from prison and willingly going back imo.

now one adult swim show however is ok to watch and thats king of the hill they are a Christian family
