Ah, a distinction, we get the Holy Spirit upon believing in Jesus as Lord (cuz Jesus and Father are One with the Holy Spirit), hence Jesus breathed on the apostles and they received the Holy Spirit, "Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. " (John 20:21-22).
However, The Apostle Paul speaks of a Baptism in the Holy Spirit,
"While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when[
a] you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues[
b] and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all." (Acts 19:1-6)
This is the Baptism of Fire that John The Baptist spoke of, "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire," (Matthew 4:11), and hence why tongues of fire fell on apostles (Acts 2:3-4).
Although Cornelius and his Household got the Gifts of the Spirit while Peter was preaching (Acts 10:44-46).
