How do you make war? And against what?
• Pro 20:18 -> “ Plans are established by counsel; by wise guidance wage war.”.
I know that this speech about war is antic for those who believes in Jesus. Nonetheless, see what Jesus said:
• Mat 10:34 -> “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”.
And Paul complements:
• Eph 4:26 -> “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,”.
First: what is our war?
• Eph 6:12 -> “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”.
Hence the importance of the wise counsels:
• Pro 15:22 -> “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.”.
• Pro 24:6 -> “for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.”.
After all, in Jesus is all the treasures of the wisdom and science (Col 2:3) and He works in the intimate communion:
• Mat 18:20 -> “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” “.
And we need Jesus’ wisdom so that we can destroy all the fortress of Ha-Satan in the mind of people:
• 2Co 10:4,5 -> “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”.
So, have a good day seeking, in Jesus and His bride, the guidance so that can be fulfilled, in the life of people around us, what Paul said:
• 2Ti 2:24-26 -> “And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.”.
