Eph 6:13 For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm.

Well said! How can we know and experience the living word? Jesus is the living word made flesh for all in all. The rest sadly are just scribbles on paper. I could never receive unconditional mercy or divine grace under the old testament but Bless be to Him the hope of glory JESUS because He lives in me and i am. My life is in Him my hope is in Him my heart is The one that loved me first.
colossians 1:16 "For by him were ALL THINGS created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"

colossians 1:16 "For by him were ALL THINGS created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
when we look up at the stars, some of those are planets
Indeed brother, planets, suns, galaxies, etc...
ephesians 6:17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"
ever noticed that the word is the only offensive weapon mentioned in the armor? even Jesus used the written word
matthew 4:1-11 "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not LIVE by bread alone, but BY every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God..
5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7Jesus said unto him, IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for IT IS WRITTEN, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11THEN THE DEVIL LEAVETH HIM, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."
satan cant defend against Gods word.
Indeed brother, planets, suns, galaxies, etc...
amen bro, thats my position as well ! God bless you Paul !
Indeed brother, planets, suns, galaxies, etc...
whats really cool about that principle there is this
1 corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him<<<< that is an awefully huge promise and He will indeed blow our minds with the things He has prepared for us !!
Jesus spoke the Living word, and then it was written
the living part is when we accept the word into our hearts and hold faith in the Word because our faith is in the One who spoke it. how do we gain knowledge ? or communicate? God has spoken, it was written according to His will and preserved. The written word Holds the living Knowledge of God. The word of God puts the spirit into Our Hearts. everything we have heard about Jesus, is because someone Believed in what was written nearly 2000 years ago otherwise wed be at the mercy of anyone saying anything and then saying " God says this saints...or God says that saints. From the time of Moses God has spoken and had believers write His words and thank God that He did Have it written so that we cant be Lead astray by insane babblings of reprobate men looking to have mind control over someone that believes in God. The written Word of God is essential to everything a Christian believes. ive personally never Heard God speak audibly, maybe others Have, but what is written turned a guilt free sinner, into a guilt free disciple of Jesus Christ, and His word has reshaped my mind and Heart to where my thoughts are in line with His word.
it seems odd in a bible discussion forum......its a topic of the connection between the Word of God, and the written word of God. When all we Know comes from it, and all we hear from a good teacher or pastor is based on what they have learned from it. what is written, is infallibly true, and will never fade, those " words on paper" those hold the Knowledge of Life and death, and the power to change those destined for hell, to the children of God. its the Knowledge that is living.

My Friend. Jesus is the living word made flesh and blood. The law or should i say words of the law were fulfilled in Him. The written word is good yes but have the living word made flesh in uarriving us freedom in Jesus that is power. The law was not for grace or mercy but fear of God and the consequences of sin death.
is it therefore good for teaching yes but it must not be a way of understanding the word. We live under the dispensation of grace and mercy through Faith not under the law. we would never be able to fulfill it.

Jesus is the living word made flesh and blood.
matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore WHOSOEVER heareth these SAYINGS OF MINE, and DOETH THEM, I will liken him unto a WISE MAN, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it FELL NOT: for it was founded upon A ROCK.
26And every one that heareth THESE SAYINGS OF MINE, and DOETH THEM NOT, shall be likened unto a FOOLISH MAN, which built his house upon the SAND: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and IT FELL: and GREAT WAS THE FALL of it."
the living word is when you accept what "the word made flesh said lol and let it become part of your mind and heart.
john 7:16-17 "Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. "
they are living words because they are Gods Words, His teachings, just Like Jesus was made flesh by Gods Word...His words make us like Him
thats why....john 15:10 "If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commands and remain in His love. "
How to Love is the idea Here, its what the gospel is.
you should accept the Words, of the "word made flesh" because its spirit and life meant to accept and give life to the dead.
john 14:15-26 "If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16And I WILL PRAY THE FATHER and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be IN YOU.
18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I AM IN MY FATHER and YE IN ME, and I IN YOU << ( the living word) . 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself UNTO US, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me NOT keepeth NOT my sayings: and THE WORD which ye hear is NOT MINE, but THE FATHERS WHICH SENT ME." ( Deuteronomy 18:18-19)
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But THE COMFORTER, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father WILL SEND in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I HAVE SAID unto you."
deauteronomy 18:18-19 "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him" see acts 3, and 7,.
john 12:48-50 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."
1 timothy 6:3-5 "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the WORDS OF OUR LORD Jesus Christ, and to the DOCTRINE WHICH IS ACCORDING TO GODLINESS;( John 7:16-17) 4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself."
i guess since its not really about what the scripture says, it may not really have an affect, but wouldnt you think its prety important to hear the "word made fleshs" words? being that he repeatedly said " my words its all about my teachings because im the One to hear and accept? i may be a fool, but ill take the written word of Jesus, over the written words of jospeh prince or the like for only 19.95 explaining why Jesus words arent really for christians
PSALMS 119:161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.
PSALMS 119:162 I rejoice at your word, as one who finds great plunder.

Standing on the word is declaring God's promises back to heaven.
Find scripture that applies to the situation. Believe it is true. Declare it as FACT back to the throne. Don't give up.
This protocol is vividly depicted in the parable of persistence where the mans neighbor at first refused him provisions.

True ministry desires God's very best for the brethren.
His very best for every man.
And desires that his own anointing be surpassed by his own disciples.
It is this component, the fact that it is missing, that brought error into Hagins followers, and why Hagin succeeded by keeping his eye off himself.

The point is the written word from the mouth of Jesus is the anointed Word...like the saber sword.
Otherwise...you have a knife. Good for slashing around though. Trouble is we slash one another with it.
