for a stretch of dirt or a cot, when they’re lucky?​

missing the little things each and every day?

who prays each day to be protected,
when walking into the line of fire,
never knowing if they’ll make it out?

who has images in their mind forever,
losing friends, they’ve come to know and love
fearing today could be their last?​

I think about this alot! Soldiers give so much...for us...how do you thank someone for that...and show your appreciation?

yeah, it is cray to think about how much they do for us.
i have sent them letters and such with a 4-H group... i hope they enjoyed them!
