"Over" seemingly in the natural, but "lower" in the spiritual. Nothing to do with maturity, it's the state of being for the gifted teacher.

Jesus taught:
1) If you want to be chief, be a servant.
2) The first will be last, and the last will be first.

"In the Lord", in the spiritual. Servant, slaves, attendants.

Do you agree saints are either being perfected by a gifted teacher, or saints are gifted teacher perfecting saints?

Heya miss Suze, I know some churches adhere to the power structure of all males having authority over all females, but I do not think it is a Biblically sound doctrine.

There are many verses about spiritual qualifications for authority in church, and Y chromosomes alone do not cut it. 1 Timothy 3:6 even forbids male novices from teaching, though this passage is often ignored.

I do understand those who believe that women should never have any authority, I think they are misreading scripture but I see how they got there and I respect their position. But I'm not aware of any verses that give all males authority over all females regardless of spiritual maturity. If you know of one please let me know! 🙏

As wasn't advocating this , just stating it as a fact as far as my experience goes . It is the case in my denomination and most others in the UK , wether I like it or not 🤷 .
