How far is it worth having much money?
• Pro 16:8 -> “Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.”.
• Pro 15:16 -> “Better is a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble with it.”.
• Psa 37:16 -> “Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.”.
See that better is a little with righteousness and fear of the Creator than great revenues (treasure, abundance) earned with injustice and fraught of trouble.
And the reason can be seen below:
• Mic 6:10 -> “Can I forget any longer the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed?”.
• Eze 18:10-13 -> “If he fathers a son who is violent, a shedder of blood, who does any of these things (though he himself did none of these things), who even eats upon the mountains, defiles his neighbor's wife, oppresses the poor and needy, commits robbery, does not restore the pledge, lifts up his eyes to the idols, commits abomination, lends at interest, and takes profit; shall he then live? I know that this looks queer. After all, many people make money unduly and, apparently, they are thriving. Nonetheless, it will arrive the moment that it will be fulfilled the following verse:
• Jer 17:11 -> “Like the partridge that gathers a brood that she did not hatch, so is he who gets riches but not by justice; in the midst of his days they will leave him, and at his end he will be a fool.”.
• Pro 21:6,7 -> “The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death. The violence of the wicked will sweep them away, because they refuse to do what is just.”.
Can you be sure:
• 1Ti 6:6-9 -> “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.”.
Unfortunately, people don’t figure out that the true richness comes from the love that goes out of the heart. After all, what is better: having much money in order to be assisted by the best professionals which only care about their career and financial profits; or having no money, but being assisted for people who really care for us and like so much to be with us every time?
So, have a good day being a tree which yield its own fruit which, in turn, generates trees of life (Prov 11:30; 12:12).
