Hi there

This is a story about how God loves me.

I was a successful post production sound engineer. Worked at many tv stations and production houses in South Africa on adverts, tv shows, etc. I also lectured at a film school for a few years. I was also a drug addict and eventually lost totaly control.

I had gotten to a point in my life where I had lost everything I had. My girlfriend. My child. My career. Everything was gone. The people I thought who were my friends. Stripped of me. I was living in a room in my parents home.

I was brought to a place of quiet. Building up to this point, an old friend started taking me to church and I started to believe what the Pastors were talking about. It seemed quite real. Like they were talking to me specifically. I remember the day I was saved. It was in my room... I was Whatsapp chatting to a Christian friend in another city on my phone. He got me to say a prayer to invite Jesus into my life and I believed it and felt the need for drugs go away immediately. There was a warmth over my body and I was saved. I didn't need to ever take drugs again.

Then I started to see how God was talking to me. I had not job. Then he gave me a job, working at a call centre as a data capturer. I got paid so little, but it was a start. My father gave me a small responsibility to test my faith. There were days wen I didn't have money to get to work because I got paid so little. But money would literally appear for bus fare. It would always be the exact amount. My faith grew strong as I learnt to pray and talk to God and let the Holy spirit guide me.

He then gave me a pay bump at work and I got promoted so I could support my daughter even more and start thinking about getting my own place to stay again. That was after 3 months of working there. After 6 months of being there, I moved into a separate entrance at the back of a person's house and lived there for about 6 months or so. I worked 6 days a week and hardly got to see my daughter or anybody. It was a difficult but good time as I became closer to my Father.

Then I got blessed suddenly with a contract to do sound for a big tv show, a friend of the family donated a studio space to me and I could leave my call centre job and go back into doing audio work again and I could run my own business doing it. He restored me. That's the short version. A whole bunch more happened.

I'm at the point now where I'm realizing that I feel I should be doing media for God and not for man. I want to work in television and media for Jesus now.

I can't even go into the darkness that I went through and the witchcraft attacks I faced over the last few years and still do face, but Jesus Christ overcomes all. He sends them all packing and breaks all bondages.

What I know is that we have to be strong as Christians in our faith. Because the enemy will come at us. But they will always be defeated because we are meant to realize who we truly are and serve our God in everything we do.

Our Father Jesus Christ is our saviour. I love Him and owe my whole life to Him. He led me through and I am so grateful.

Hi its wonderful to hear your testimony. Isn't it great that we can
be in a meeting or a church full of people, but God still speaks to the
individual and convicts them.

God bless
