How long have you been coming to CC?

Heh just like the title says, just curious how long have yall been coming to CC? how did you find about CC? me since 6/7th grade, so about 9-10 years. wanted to try something different than the yahoo/aol teen rooms haha, so i searched "christian chat rooms" and found CC near the top of the list :-).
 
Well, my profile says nearly 6 years....but I had a different nic before *Grace*. So I think for a total of between 7 and 7.5 years.

Heard about it from searching on Google.
 
Before I found CC, I was on Christian Teen Forums. Thought I seemed too old to be posting on there. :p But I joined in March, and thought this place would one of the many forums that I would neglect. Turned out to be a pretty cool place. I'm guessing... several months now? Just about.
 
I am new....joined about four months ago...... yet it feels like I have known ya'll forever...strange and cool.... :-)
 
I started ... not quite a week ago? I'm a total, kinda bashful, noob here ...
 
Mine says since 2009, but I had the same nick before then. Back then, an account could be deleted from inactivity. So there. I've been here roughly 5 years, but not consistently. I'm more active when school isn't in full swing.
 
I stopped chatting completely about 5 years ago because even the "christian" chatrooms on some servers were disgusting and dangerous. About a year ago I decided to pretty much withdraw from the dating scene and found myself with more time on my hands. I came across the forums and found them interesting, so I joined a little over a year ago. I've gotten to know a lot of people here and they are truly a blessing. I'm not quite over being creeped out by other forums yet, but I'm getting there. :)
 
I haven't been keeping track, it says in the upper right hand corner of this post i think. I wasn't so sure of this site at first....It seemed like nobody wanted to talk to me or even acknowledge me. Maybe people were checkin me out to see if I was a creep or not? Or to see what kind of person I was or what my intentions were? Idk, but it doesn't seem that way at all anymore, I feel totally welcome most of the time and have had many delightful encounters and conversations.
 
I think it takes some people time to warm up to others....It was kinda like that with me at first as well.... but now i sooooooo love most people on here :D

I found CC while googling. I've been here since Feb'11. I like it here. Some of you here make me ponder, perplexed, smile, laugh, ......even cry............. It's the best one so far.....
 
I found this site just by googling "chat rooms free christian" and while there have been ups and downs, over all I am glad I got an account.

I found this site the exact same way :) and feel the same about getting (and keeping) my account.

As a naturlly shy and odd person, I think I'm in that stage. But whatever works.
