I've been thinking about this. It's funny, I have met Christians with families before, but now that I kind of look at the forum, it's starting to sink in with me that actually, I don't actually know, that is to say at present have active social contact with, very many of them.
So how do the rest of you think to define a family? Personally, I really don't see someone as having a family at all unless the person is married. Children who still live at the 'rents have families too in a way, but that's not "real". You have to be a grown up to have a family. You know what, thinking it over, this kind of sucks, but I actually don't know a single solitary Christian family.
 
mmm I dont think its any less real to live with your parents saying thats not family when it is than having your own children

christians live in all types of families and even when having their own children those children are not necessarily going to be christian, even when people raise them up in church.

Jesus was not married and he still had family...he considered all of Israel to be his family. You need to look a bit wider than the four walls of your own dwelling.
 
'nuclear' families are kind of an american invention. They are good incubators or baby nurseries/farms but thats not always how people really live.
