How to keep the commandments and laws of the Creator?
Bind them upon your fingers -> Everything that we touch have to be signed by the Creator, that is to say, everything that we do ought to be an opportunity for Jesus to confirm His word and manifest His identity. In other words, everything we do has to be a work of art for His glory.
Write them upon the tablet of your heart -> Nevertheless, it is important that we allow all these teachings to be part of our feelings and thoughts. Otherwise, we will be mere professionals of the faith instead of Jesus’ friends (see Isaiah 41.8; James 2.23).
In other words, let’s do Christ’s work always exercising our love for the friends, instead of, as robots, just concentrate in works and results, laws and nemesis.
So, rose up, open yourself to your Beloved (Jesus) and have a good day dripping the good perfume of Jesus’ word through your hands and fingers (2Cor 2.15,16; Song 5.5).
