the covenant was not changed with us, because we were never baptized into Moses to begin with.

the covenant God made with Abraham still stands -- it was never annulled or changed by the covenant He made with ethnic Israel in the desert.

To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified. Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.
(Galatians 3:15-18)

which one of you was with them in the wilderness, brought out of Egypt, and promised to keep the Law under threat of the curse that goes with it?

which one of you were saved by that Law?

you were all brought into Christ by the promise. not by the Law -- not one of you was saved by the Law, and not one of you ever will be. no flesh shall be justified by it.

why do we have this discussion 10,000 times? we have clear scripture that destroys these arguments!

Your putting up a strawman argument. I have never said any are justified by works. As a matter of fact I even posted Scripture that clearly shows otherwise:

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

the covenant God made with Abraham still stands -- it was never annulled or changed by the covenant He made with ethnic Israel in the desert.

This is Scriptually wrong, the Promise is not just for ethnic Israel, it is for those in Messiah:

Galations 3:28,29, "Is there not the Yahdai as well as the Greek; Gentile? Is there not the slave as well as the freeman? Is there not the male and the female? For all of you must be in unity in Yahshua Messiah. And if you are in Messiah, then you are a seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though YHWH's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Israyl who belongs to Israyl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are YHWH's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

I keep posting this and people keep saying it's wrong, if you believe the Word how can it be wrong?

I have been using Scripture to prove and clarify my beliefs. Post (#53) shows that I did indeed quote a Scripture that you seem to believe before you said it but you continually say otherwise. Certianly we don't agree on everything 100% And maybe we agree on much less han I think, I don't know?

So what is post #53 do you disagree with? If you don't tell me we can never reconcile it or fully agree to disagree IMO.

God tells believers in no uncertain terms, so clearly and plainly that even a child can understand, "You are not under law, but under grace” (Rom. 6:14).

God tells believers in no uncertain terms, so clearly and plainly that even a child can understand, "You are not under law, but under grace” (Rom. 6:14).

Is that the only verse we are allowed to read to form doctrine? Or do w let Scripture intrepret Scriputre?

Because if we take the whole Council of Yah, which we need to do we see mercy and obedience go hand in hand.

In the same book you are quoting Paul says:

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

Died to sin, which is the breaking of the Law or died to the Law, which is do not steal, love your neighbor, love Yah, etc.?

Romans 13:9-10, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."

Romans 8:2 Because through Yahshua Messiah, the Law of the Spirit has set me free from the law of sin and death.

1John 3:4, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Romans 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.

Rom 5:13, "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."

Romans 7:6-7, " But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code. then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

1 John 2:3-7, "3And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. 7Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard."

It seems to me the lesser pharisees on this forum could not get us converted so they brought in Saul....

You're very insulting...but i gotta be honest. This reply was funny I can't deny lol.

But notwithstanding, as Christ would say, you are of your fathers. You do what they do. What it mean is, though you call Hiz a Pharisee, who's here deriding and name-calling like the Pharisees did? You're not focused on the subject matter but hurling personal accusations.

Have you not heard about the oracles of God ?

What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way:chiefly, because that unto them

were committed [the oracles of God]. Romans 3:2

and it was refuted by Paul all the time

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

-When Paul was accused of forsaking the law of Moses, he always denied this,
and said he does live according to the law.

"But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I
the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:"

For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

(Act 21:21) They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among
the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children
or live according to our customs.

-These accusations above were shown to be false.

The Christian life does not consist of conformity to "instructions", to a list of rules and regulations, it is the very life of the Lord Jesus being lived out in us by the Spirit of God.

@Hizikyah, I was with you brother, but post #58, I don't know......sounds like going back under the law and ceremonial law at that.

Thank you for Scriptual truth!

1 Corinthians 7:19, "For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God?"

Acts 21:24, "Take them, and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads. Then everyone will know that those things they were informed about you (forsaking the Law), were lies, and that you, yourself, walk orderly, and keep the Law."

Romans 7:12, "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous."

Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with a promise: That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."

I think many need to study what the Pharisees actually did, which was make their own religion, which is modern day Judaism, and does not follow the Law of YHWH and never did... As soon as obedience to YHWH's Instructions is spoken of "Judizer" is yelled, while those yelling it usually have no clue true Judaism has it's own law, not YHWH's Law...

What happens to a Christian that does not observe anything in the law? ( not talking about godly living from the life of Christ that is in us....that is a fruit of His life and grace operating in our lives )

Are we in dis-obedience because we don't do some things in the law of Moses? What about the Jewish Sabbath? Are we to observe that? Are we in disobedience to God if we don't follow the Jewish Sabbath as required in the law of Moses?

@Hizikyah, I was with you brother, but post #58, I don't know......sounds like going back under the law and ceremonial law at that.

I am not ashamed of my beliefs, I will clarify; I believe nothing has passed from the Law:

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahanan, saw the holy city, YHWH Shammah, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father."

However all Laws are not meant for all people, hear me out now. I am not picking and choosing, I amgoing from what is written. There are Laws only for men and Laws only for women. There are Laws that only pertain to priests, there are Laws that only retain to the High Priest. I am not a priest, but a sheep of the Shepherd, no man on earth is, or is fit to be a priest, that was disbanded. Only Yahshua/Jesus is a priest currently, the High Priest at that. He, acting as High Priest Intercedes for us on our behalf:

Hebrews 4:1-15, "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest Who has ascended into the heavens: Yahshua the Son of Yahweh, let us hold fast our profession. For we do not have a High Priest Who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all ways tempted as we are--yet was without sin."

Hebrews 9:11-12, "But the Messiah came near as a High Priest over the righteous things to come, with the great and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation;Nor through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once, for all, having obtained eternal redemption."

1 Timothy 2:5, "For One is Yahweh; and One Mediator between Yahweh and men: the Man, Yahshua Messiah."

Heb 9:15 And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Now I do not believe in any Laws that are not in Scripture, that is Judaisim, well the Cathloics make "decrees" also, but same, I only follow Scripture.

"For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance." (Hebrews 9:13-15)

By the way filling up the page with scholastic achievement is of none effect with God; for God is no respecter of person's.

RE: post 58 rethinking......hmmmmmm a week at the spa every month or a cruise, a room at the Ritz, no housework, no laundry, no cooking, no kids.....

IMO, no matter how much we love someone, we can get "sick" of them being around us every minute of every day. So a little time apart every month will make it that much more exciting to do something as simple as hold each other! And yes, it's not a bad thing, where they are put out like their being punished, that is how anti-nomians try to frame it. But the Law of Yah commands everything to be done with love, as Yahshua taught. So yes it would be a time where things were taken care of for said woman, kind of pampered if I have any say. Now this same with love principle aplles to all of YHWH's Laws, and when viewed through this lens, one is properly ingesting the Law, as Yahshua taught!

Psalm 19:7-10, "The Laws of YHWH are perfect, converting the whole person. The testimony of YHWH is sure, making the simple ones wise. The statutes of YHWH are right, rejoicing the heart; mind. The commandments of YHWH are pure, bringing understanding to the eyes. The reverence of YHWH is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of YHWH are true and altogether righteous. They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than even much fine gold. They are sweeter than honey and the honeycomb."

1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the mind of man the things which YHWH has prepared for those who love Him."

Exodus 20:6, "But showing love to thousands who love Me by keeping My Laws."

Isaiah 51:7 “Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart is My Torah: do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their revilings."

Deuteronomy 10:12-13, "And now, O Israyl, what does YHWH your Father require of you, but to reverence YHWH your Father by walking in all His ways, by loving Him, by serving YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul. By keeping the Laws of YHWH, with His statutes, which I command you this day, so that you may be blessed?"

1 Yahchanan/John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of YHWH: When we love YHWH by keeping His Laws. For this is the love of YHWH: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Mattithyah 22:37, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might."

Romans 10:4-5 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

[SUP]5 [/SUP] For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.

We can either try to live by the law of Moses or we can have faith in Christ. There is no mixture. We either water down the Law of Moses to make it look "do-able" or we nullify the grace of God that is in Christ by what "we do".

Law-keepers that say we are to observe things in the law actually have a very low respect for the law of Moses and for the work of Christ.

Galatians 3:9-12 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.

[SUP]10 [/SUP] For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written
, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM."

[SUP]11 [/SUP] Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for,
"THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

[SUP]12 [/SUP] However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."

Well we can go deeper than this, but I would like to start with some Scripture and we can reason from there?

It is not and never was a "Jewish Sabbath" It is and always was for ALL FOLLOERS OF YAH:

Isayah 56:1-7, "This is what Yahweh says: Keep the judgments, and do justly; for My salvation is near, soon, to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them; and keeps his hand from doing any evil. Do not let the son of the Gentile, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying; Yahweh has utterly separated me from His people. Nor let the eunuch say; Behold, I am a dry tree. For this is what Yahweh says: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose those things which please Me, and hold fast to My covenant: I will give to them, in My House, even within My walls, a place and a Name equal to that of sons and of daughters; I will give them the Name of The Everlasting: YAHWEH; which will not be cut off. Also the sons of the Gentile who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahweh, to be His servants--everyone who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them and who holds fast to My covenant--I will bring them to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer..."

Nowhere is Scripture will you find a Command for a Sabbth change, Yahshua, the 12, and Paul all kept Sabbath. However it was prophesied that it would be falsely changed in the minds of the people by evil forces:

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times* and Laws..."

times* is word #2166 zeman

zeman: time
Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
Transliteration: zeman
Phonetic Spelling: (zem-awn')
Short Definition: time

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
(Chaldee); from H2165; the same as H2165:—season, time.

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) a set time, time, season

now this is different from another word for time in Aramaic,

5732 iddan - time
Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
Transliteration: iddan
Phonetic Spelling: (id-dawn')
Short Definition: time

which is literal time, where zeman id the Aramaic equal to the HEbrew word Moadim. Moadim is Sabbath time, a set time.

Now I am no judge of Yah, to judge one's final resting place, but I do believe breaking the Sabbath is a sin, for transgression of the Law is a sin. But I also do not believe in keeping the Sabbath like the Pharisees taght, which was not keeping it at all, but rather Yahshua as our example.

Mattithyah 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Mattithyah 24:20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day."

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Isayah 58:13-14, "If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in aidle conversation: Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father--for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."

It is a day truly for the will of Yah, all days are for His will, but it is a special day. For we can not do His will 24/7, we need to shower, cook, work, etc. and those things are not always His will. Watching a ball game is not the will of the Most High for the work of His kingdom, it's not a sin IMO, but not His will either.

Romans 10:4-5 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

You misuse this verse:

We are not righteous by following the Law of the Creator, but the Yahsua showed the intent or ultimate result of keeping the Law of the Creator.

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith--the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away in 1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9. Unless of course telos means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

Yaaqob (James) 5:11, "Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Iyyob, and have seen the ultimate result (telos) of Yahweh: that Yahweh is very compassionate and merciful."

Please don't ignore this, truth is truth.

You didn't answer my question...is a Christian in disobedience if they do not keep the law of Moses?

We can't isolate. The Glatains had a specific problem, Paul was commenting on their issues, the whole council of Yah must be considered:

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

Romans 7:25, "Thanks be to Yahweh, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of Yahweh, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin."

Acts 21:24, "Take them, and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads. Then everyone will know that those things they were informed about you (forsaking the Law), were lies, and that you, yourself, walk orderly, and keep the Law."

and why not the Messiahs words ever? When Paul is isolated from the rest of Scripture (or any Scripture is isolated) errors in understanding are more likely to occur:

2 peter 3:15-17, "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."

John (Yahchanan) 14:6, "Yahshua proclaimed to him: I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father, except through Me."

Luke 6:46, "And why call Me; Ruler! Ruler! and do not the things which I say?"

Yahchanan (John) 4:25-26, "The woman said to Him; I know that the Messiah comes, and when He comes, He will tell us all things. Yahshua said to her: I am He speaking to you."

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

"listen" is word #8085 שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey

You didn't answer my question...is a Christian in disobedience if they do not keep the law of Moses?

Yes I did answer it, I took your question seriously. I explained more than just that question, but the answer is clearly stated, did you read it? Here it is underlined:

That is a man-made "law-keeping" truth that really exchanges Christ for the law of Moses. It is an anti-Christ belief system that denies the work of Christ. Getting people to live by the law of Moses now that they are in Christ is in fact Judaizing and Paul was vehemently against this as it distorts the gospel of Christ and nullifies the grace of God in people's lives.

The saints have been warned about this religion and they will not desert their Lord Jesus for the law. His life in and through us will fulfill all the intent of the law which is love.

I will leave this with the Lord to handle. Enough has been said for those to see the glorious truth that is in the gospel of the grace of Christ for us. As we have received Christ - so we are to walk in Him. We will not be ship-wrecked in our faith by those that say we are to "observe the law of Moses".

Go read the threads started by "disciplemike" and you will see where the saints have refuted these law of Moses law-keeping belief systems that have tried to replace the work of Christ for life and living.

Have a great rest of the day.
